Double Page Spread #3

This is the third and final double page spread that I have deconstructed. This is from a different magazine from the other two deconstructions that I completed and I feel I benefited from looking at the different style that this magazine has and it has allowed me to see how this magazine uniquely displays the common conventions of a double page spread. Each of the double page spreads I have looked at have helped me to get a grasp of the essential and optional conventions of a double page spread. This exercise has given me an idea of how I would like the double page spread of my product to look. I am going to take some ideas from these double page spreads but manipulate them so they would appeal to my target audience and fit with my chosen magazine genre - 'teen pop.' Now that I have deconstructed front covers, contents pages and double page spreads I feel I have enough research from different magazines to start thinking about the design and layout of my own product. I plan to take aspects of all of the magazines I have looked at and apply these to my product in unique and individual ways.
