Potential Problems with My Coursework

Potential area where there might be a problem
How I will deal with this problem
Front Cover Images
1.      Not bright enough
2.      Too blurry
3.      No eye line match
4.      Not the right shape
5.      Not a medium shot
6.      Not enough images
Front Cover Images
1.      Ensure there is both natural and artificial lighting present at the photo shoot.
2.      Use a professional, high quality camera.
3.      Brief my model to ensure they know that eye-line with the camera is essential.
4.      Take images from a variety of angles and lengths to ensure the right shape for my front cover. Also have a second plan for my front cover.
5.      Again, take images from a variety of angles and lengths to ensure the right shot length for my front cover.
6.      Take multiple images in the same pose and then have a variety of poses for the models to ensure I have enough images.
Article Inside Magazine
1.      Too much text
2.      Not enough inspiration for the article
3.      Too many questions
4.      Not journalistic enough
5.      Doesn’t appeal to the target audience
6.      Too ‘grown up’ for the target audience
Article Inside Magazine
1.      Re-draft the article multiple times to ensure that there is not too much text.
2.      Read teen pop articles from a variety of magazines.
3.      Redraft the article multiple times and cut out and add in different questions.
4.      Read magazine articles from magazines other than teen pop so I can view the journalistic style.
5.      Read teen pop articles ask members of my target audience to check that the subject matter does appeal to the target audience.
6.      Re-draft the article multiple times and check it against other teen pop articles.
Images to Accompany Article
1.      Not related to the subject of the article
2.      Not enough images
3.      Blurry images
Images to Accompany Article
1.      Take pictures in different poses to ensure that there is definitely a picture that relates to the subject matter of the article and plan the article subject matter before the photoshoot.
2.      Take multiple images of the models in multiple poses to ensure I have enough images.
3.      Use a high quality professional camera.

This table includes all of the potential problems that I could experience while producing my coursework and how I will solve or prevent these problems. This has helped me as I can see the problems that could happen and plan for if they do. Being organised will save me a lot of time while producing the product and help me to  focus of producing a professional looking teen pop magazine.
